Plays: 5

Recorded primarily on August 21st, 2009, takes (incidental sound) from another earlier recording come from the same vein, and were used on this short sampler version of an overall piece to be played solo on Friday (by Of Course You Realize… on the 28th), with accompaniment on Saturday (Siege Circuit, on the 29th in Belleville), called “Out Into The Woods.”

Mixing occurred on Sunday, August 23rd, 2009, midday into mid-afternoon, with all tracks recorded at night.  No sounds were captured by microphones, no sounds were recorded indoors.  All sounds went through the pickup on an old short-scale Teisco (for lack of a better idea of its brand-name origins) bass guitar modified to be fretless, lending itself to a certain murkiness expected and relied upon for this recording exercise.  As this is not a full demo of the piece, the title lyric is heard upon the dropping out of the other audio at the end.

mp3 quality is at 192 kbps.
