In another attempt to get locals to attend… Dave X, who runs local (to Carbondale, IL) experimental music radio show It’s Too Damn Early (which is available for streaming live at its 4:00a.m.-6:30 a.m. Saturday morning time here), will be publicly administering the live debut of John Cage’s piece, “Knobs” with the assistance of a couple of critical gear donations from Solar Shadows Records. It’s FREE, so there’s not really much reason to miss this if you live in Carbondale, unless you actually have class or work at the time of the performance itself. This is the more “straightfoward” of the two promo spots for the John Cage piece to be unveiled, and it still looks terrific.
