Drunk Virago - The Only Brother (rough tracks demo version)
Early cut of the first session. Quick-and-dirty audio balancing was done, no mastering or effects. Already corrected a couple of problems. The MySpace for that band (see link) has this quick rough mix up already, as well.
Recorded by Karthik Kakarala on 7/16/2010, mixed (briefly) on 7/20/2010 and 7/24/2010. 224 kbps stereo encoding.

GPOYATF: Meet Rob Jacobs (and take a listen to some of his stuff, through that link… click on the picture for a better view of our handsome fellow). The fellow came in with comrades going by the performing monikers of Dr. Responsible and Withershins on Wednesday, and played a second show last night, with fellow SSR artist Of Course You Realize… anchoring the local support. Once some things with the pressing plant get straightened out, Rob Jacobs will be releasing a CD with us. We are thrilled to have him, ¡and are almost worried still that mentioning him so publicly will somehow jinx things! Superstitions aside, this was a fantastic time, and a multi-performer jam also included (in addition Rob Jacobs and Withershins bandmate Isaac) Matthew Lind of Gorilla Heritage and Drunk Virago to say little of the fact that it’s his home at The Swamp that is making this evening possible), who backed up Dr. Responsible a song last night.
